I don't use FirePay and have some questions before I sign-up with them.

They say you can fund your Firepay account direct from your bank account. Is that safe especially if I'm going to use it for gambling sites and my bank account is in the U.S.?

And what FEE's go with it? Won't my bank charge me a wire fee?

i sent firpay 3 e mails in the last couple of days with a few questions,no response to any of my e mails,i will not be using them

Did they offer credit card use before? Because what caught my eye was that on their website it says "you fund your account with your bank account"
It says once they Validate your bank account you Deposit into your account by writing an Electronic Check by furnishing Routing Number and Check Number.

I want it for the Electronic Check feature if it works easy as allot of books take Firepay.

has anybody tried this yet?

michael777 - Have you opened an account with them or are you just trying to get info like me?

Intuition:

3-4 years ago, SureFire was the absolute nuts!

When the banks started clamping down on CC's their business went downhill.

There software was tight, and they NEVER missed a payment to the book.

Money clears instantly just like paypal did. I have used it and it is good. Greek accepts it too. You must link your bank account and your ready to go.

intuition bet,i opened an account, then validated my account,i then e mailed them 3 times some simple questions such as minimum and maximum amounts that i could deposit and i cant get a response,i do not see an 800 number for them so i really dont want to call

with the recent changes in credit cards firepay hasnt been able to process most of them either so they are going the e.f.t. route...at intertops they actually dont even tell you your using firepay until you've completed the signup and made a transaction. at that point they tell you that it will show up on your statement as "firepay". i too have heard pros and cons about firepay and i may not have used it had i known in advance i was doing it thru firepay but several transactions later its working just fine

I only used them one time a few years ago, when credit cards were ok. I had to call them to get the charges from the book which Firepay HAD received to get them to put the money back on the card. Was showing up on my statement. To make a long story short--I was on HOLD FOREVER. And while the lady I talked with was pleasant--I got the distinct impression--that they were incompetent. (One very simple transaction was made very difficult!)

So have you had any problems at intertops using their Firepay?
Do they have their own streamline version of Firepay integrated into their site?

So have you had any problems at intertops using their Firepay? NONE....in fact its almost instant, plus the first time you can deposit up to 250.00. and play on it until they verify your account information. there are limits after that but NO fees at all. ONE NEGATIVE (maybe) according to the way i read the rulesonce your account has been verified this is the ONLY method you can use to WITHDRAW funds although you can still use any of their other deposit methods...

Do they have their own streamline version of Firepay integrated into their site? YES....works great, takes 5 mins to make the first deposit.

sfeiner - 5 minutes to make the 1st depo is very good.

How long have you been using their NEW system?

ive been using it about a month. ever since intertops started offering it. ill admit had i known it was thru firepay i may not have used it. i was doing it because of the confidence i have in intertops. im worried as all heck about firepay just because of what ive heard and read about them. though the intertop rules say withdrawal via this method only im hoping when it comes time i can get them to send me a check directly instead. i dont withdraw from intertops but about 2-3 times a year as they frown heavily on frequent money movers.

cecil - Have you been using EFT at Intertops or just straight thru your Firepay account?

Sfeiner - Have you only made deposits into Intertops with a check/EFT? No problems?

I Bet---Unless they have improved (from 2 years ago) I would suggest Neteller or about anyone. You could experiement for a small amout to see how it goes. But I have never in my life talked to such people that did not seem to know what they were doing!!! (dodododododo--Can you say Twilight Zone)
