FIRE MACK BROWN

For the last years I have struggled being a Texas Longhorn. I went to school there and watched Major Applewhite get benched for Chris Simms. I have watched Mack Brown fail to prepare for game after game. The most obvious game was tonight against Washington St. Cedric Benson runs for 60 yards in the first half as Texas is up by three. He doesn’t see the ball almost at all in the second half.

All of a sudden Mock is in an we have to throw the ball. We were only behind 13-10 and we have to start throwing the ball? Keep running.

I never bet on Texas because of their misfortunes. I hope all of you made money on Washington State tonight.

If you are not even going to bother making an effort at a bowl game, then don’t even show up. Tonight again proved how soft Mack Brown is and how poorly we schemed to stop a blitz. Unreal. The sad part is that Texas has some of the best athletes in the country, and cannot win a freaking game.

I hate to say this, but Texas could go on a reign of terror if they land Spurrier.

your probably right pete spurrier belongs back in college cant live with out that eago but holy cow texas is overrated year in and year out might as well have them playing notredame every saturday on nbc.

Lived in Tx for a few years and love the Horns as well. Mack Brown is BY FAR the most over rated, under acheiving, S.O.B. in college football. He has the best talent year in and year out but still gets his ass kicked by Oklahoma every year. He also is notorious for not getting his team up for games, such as tonight. He should be fired tomorrow morning and go get someone.....anyone. And believe me - Spurrier would take this job tomorrow if offered.

I have season tickets, belong to the UT Club, and I can't even say hello to that asshole.

He is untouchable as long as Delods Dodds is the Athletic Coordinator.

They will not fire him....He is too good of a recruiter and there is no one out there you could replace him with..(Except Spurrier, who is the most hated hated man in Louisiana)..He will make changes in his coaching staff, get the heat off of him, and then next year, the same thing happens again....I feel for ya' man....Had to suffer thru Curly, Stovall, Archer and Dinardo before we got Saban....And who knows for how long....It could have been worse tonight....Texas had a lot of chances to win the game...Good luck next year dude....

the Texas Fun n Gun. Sounds Good. Feel your pain Lee. I am a big Texas fan as well. All that talent and no cigars. They said he is a good recruiter , but Browns problem is that he cant bring out the best in his players week in , week out. Thats a shame. Some even said it is because his players are to good, their minds are on the NFL and they are just doing enough to get noticed. Most of the players just play with no emotions. So much talent.

How long can this go on? Any team with some heart will compete with Texas and wait for

DO NOT FIRE MACK BROWN, NEVER EVER!!!!----He is money betting AGAINST in BIG GAMES!!!!Let him stay put....His PATHETIC COACHING along with NO HEART on the part of Texas players will continue to provide the sports investors with plenty of CA$H.....Oh ya they can beat the Little Sisters of the Poor but if they play any team with a coach with a half of brain they are dead nuttered....
