.........then having Sueum and Francona defend their actions is giving me convulsions the more I think about this.

If I were at the game last night, I would have been possibly kicked out and banned from Tropicana Field for good.

When provoked by stupidity, I am a loose cannon.

The main reason Boston was losing in the first place was the FACT Arroyo gave up that grand salami. The bonehead who sent Roberts with 0 outs was after another choke by Boston pitchers.

JMan-

You are right about the Yanks but I've also had to suffer through the Knicks, Giants, and Rangers.

About a year ago while going through pain, screaming, yelling and throwing things during the Giants and Knicks seasons, I said to myself..."WTF are you thinking?!?!!? It's a friggin game that will not globally impact your life in any way. Be a fan and cheer but don't let the frustrations of being a fan get to you."

This came to me as I was basically cursing my wife for cheering for the Eagles (she's from Philly) during a Giants game.

I'm trying to change my approach to being a sports fan from being just fanatical and passionate to being passionate and controlled.

Fish, you should be focusing on the Devil Rays. With a nucleus of Huff, Crawford, and Baldelli, the emergence of Brazelton, the debut of BJ Upton, and Delmon Young and your gem Kazmir waiting in the wings, the flatfish finally have something going.

Tampa is indeed becoming a team to watch...great speed and arms...tough division though...

I'm never sure what's better....waiting for the Red Sox to get to the playoffs and then losing..(big time anguish)...or....losing earlier in the season, so I can get the Red Sox nation's daily dose of whine...(slow and steady drips of angst)

Doesn't matter..either way ...it's always great when the Red Sox lose!

I believe the runner thrown out at home was with 2 outs & the ball wasn't deep from what I recall.

I of course had Boston.
