Do you have any friends who use a bookie? Ask them to turn you on to him. You may try talking to the regulars at a sportsbar in your area. Do you work with any diehard sports fans? If so...ask them. If you really want to find a bookie, it shouldnt be hard!

I have had two..stumbled upon one in a sport's bar... and the other was a friend of a friend type of deal. I would think in Chicago it wouldn't be hard to find one if you ask around. Good luck.

trust me I've played with a local before...and then busted the guy and it took me a year a half to get paid...with a reputable online book or a actual sportsbook you don't have to worry about getting paid...the main two reasons people play with locals is that they can play on credit (no cash up front) and they can take advantage of bad numbers...I don't recommend doing so at all...
