Financial Forum is Open - See Post #7 in this thread..

After giving this matter some consideration I think it is only fair to separate the Political and World Events Forum aka Political Satire Forum from the posters whose interest lie more in the area of Financial matters such as stocks and bonds, precious metals, real estate, and other areas of investment and financial dealings.

I don't want to punish anyone and feel it is only fair to the financial posters that they can discuss their ideas and topics without the turmoil that has become the Politics Forum surrounding them.

I am also going to go on record now that as a courtesy to each other I will expect proper decorum in the recreated Financial Forum. We will not allow another forum to turn into what this one has.

I am deeply concerned that I will end up regretting this but am going to see how it goes. You people that are interested in such a forum can make it as good as you want it to be.

Moderators will not bother you if you are civil with each other. You have my word on that, if someone gets out of line you all know how to use the Report a Post button - do not wait until this new forum becomes another Politcs Forum. Report trouble makers on site, report political threads on site so I can move them to this forum. Same rules apply when it comes to namecalling, racism, death threats, pornography etc..Please report any violaters so they can be dealt with.

I want to give a fellow moderator this news before I open the new forum (not Barman) but he is offline until a little later this afternoon. I won't say who but I am doing this as a courtesy. I will also post a thread in the Board Room for all of the mods to see.

Apparently no one cares to have anymore threads moved to the Financial Forum (probably for the best). I will be leaving for The Bash Thursday morning, I will try to check this thread while I am traveling but if by chance someone requests a thread to be moved after 7PM EDT tomorrow it may have to wait until next week to be ruled on and moved if appropriate. Your patience is appreciated.
