Finally hit a middle !...

First of season. I play Edward's ( RAS) picks for 3 units. I know he moves the line. I buy back 2 units, so I have a unit on it. An 8-point middle yesterday, came close.

Today he went 1-1. He had me on LMU -2.5 -114 early for 3 units. I bought back Denver +5.5 -110 for 2 units, final was 74-69 LMU.

I got 74-69, but that's CBS, I don't care as long as it's 5. Now I have to check if I got paid both ways !

I finally hit my first middle as well. I had Celtics -3.5 for the 2nd half and Milwaukee +6 for the second half. Celts outscore Milwaukee by 5 in the 2nd half.

It probably wasn't a good bet as I would have paid juice if it didn't hit the middle.

QL : Huh , there's almost always juice ! I don't know how you got that middle, unless part of a previous bet.

I'll gladly take any NBA game side or total with 3 points difference at -110 on both sides, or CBB, or NFL. that's Gold !

just kidding!! good work doug. .dont know if you had to slug it out for a while before hitting one? i know it can get aggrivating for middle players sometimes.

Rob Funk : I'm not a total middler as J-man asked the other day. I try to recognize spots where middles are 90% sure to develop, I'm about 80 % right in picking them.

I know a 3point middle is fine in hoops. I know in NFL +7 +105 against -6 -110 is fine. They win over time !

I'm getting typecast as a middler only, I try a lot, I'll admit. I play my sides and totals also !

I do shoot for middles, and scalps . Scalps aren't a shot, they just happen. If it's there ( scalp), I'll play it ! The only negative is paying fees to re-balance accounts, if needed, but it's in there.
