Tonight....
JP Losman and company at Tulane are going to put up some points, but I just don't think they can put up enough to make up for there terrible D. Tulane returns starting QB and RB, along w/ best WR injured in week 3 last year. This will make the offense potent enough to score.
The D however only returns 2 starters, and they were not that good last year. The are very young and very inexperienced. Should make the TCU offense look a little better.
This game was 17-10 @ TCU last year in week 9 with the horned frogs winning at home.
TCU has there starting QB back this year playing on his surgically repaired knees, but he reportedly "looks sharp running and throwing the ball" in camp. TCU has an excellent TB in Lonta Hobbs who was going to redshirt last year, but once they saw how good he was they couldn't get this guy off of the field. TCU has an excellent O line, but there recievers are young and untested.
The TCU D was tops in the nation last year and should be solid again this year. Four Seniors return up-front on the D line and could make this team even better. The only worry for them this year is depth, as there isn't a lot of experience once you get past the top 11 guys.
I think there will be some scoring in the game and we should not see a repeat of last years 27 point total.
I like TCU tonight by 9-14 points. I do think both teams are going to score on the fast track knows as the Superdome.
Tonight I'm going w/ TCU -5.5 and over 53.5
