Mark Redman probably screwed Liriano out of a spot b/c each team has to have one rep and he's the Royals.

He can still make it as the final vote winner. Personally its between the two pitchers and Hafner would be my pick

These guys are the Final Vote nominees:

PLAYER TEAM AVG HR RBI SB
T Hafner CLE .312 22 66 0
R Hernandez BAL .274 15 59 1
A Pierzynski CWS .326 5 27 0
PLAYER TEAM W-L SV IP SO
F Liriano MIN 8-1 1 73.1 82
J Verlander DET 10-4 0 103.2 65

Pittsburgh P.A. probably reminded its fans nightly to vote for Bay.

With the attendance they get on a nightly basis, the PA probably told them to vote 10 times each for Bay. What else is there to do in Pittsburgh besides punch chads?

When I was up in Pittsburgh last weekend, every hour it seemed the radio announcers were reminded everyone to vote for all the Pirates. Definitely ballot stuffing but it's done with the Yanks and Red Sox as well

Hopefully one of the AL pitchers has a "mystery injury" so Liriano or Verlander can pitch. These guys have been solid all year.
