OK........let the controversey begin for next week! I think that if Greise is fine, and he looked pretty good against SD, he is your starter. Grant it that Fiedler has an outstanding record as a Dolphin starter, I feel he always makes that one "dumb mistake" that ends up costing them either some points or even the game! I say let Greise remain the starter also, cause he is used to playing in cold December weather, and we all know about the recent troubles for Miami in the cold. Thoughts and opinions welcome!
Griese for me, I think he throws a better ball & gives them a better chance at the big play
Griese all the way, I never could get any confidence in Fiedler, and I don't know why. I know here record is good, but something about him just doesn't sit right. I think it is because in big games against better teams , he hasn't won or winned in an spectacular way. The defense I think is what wins it for Miami, along with the running of Williams.
Griese on the other hand, I feel is a cool confident type of QB. He won big games and got wins in a spectacular way. Also these games were won on a team where their defense was mediocre, and thats why he to me is a better QB. I liked him and how he played and carried himself while playing at Michigan. To me he is a winner and can be more effective and trusted in bigger games then Fiedler.
