fhm, i have been following this system (for the most part) and have done well like yourself. so i am familiar with you deciding to fade "bad" teams which i am also doing. my question is, why did you decide to fade the dodgers? i know they are not a great team and houston, i believe, is a better team but i wouldn't put them in with tb, fla, or pitt... do you just believe they are a wolf in sheep's clothing concerning their record? i mean it is no worse than atl, minn, ariz, or sd. do you think they have overachieved thus far???

I would guess that the Dodgers just don't score enough runs to do well in this system.

Few reasons (i) as Mike points out, they don't score much; (ii) Houston is playing well and I could have seen LAD getting swept; (iii) I don't think the Dodgers are very good. They were one of the bottom 7 last year and I am not sure what they did to improve. They aren't good defensively, their aren't good offensively and I don't think their pitching is that good. Just my subjective analysis.

i don't disagree at all. i was just wondering why fade them now considering they have had some relative success compared to the rest of the league. they may very well be a 100% fade in the near future due to the factors you named.
on a side note, i am eagerly anticipating some decent payoffs this round of series. i feel pretty good about some of these second and third round games...
