Been very selective this year and have gotten off to a 5-1 start. 3-0 last weekend.

Season Tab

UConn covers vs UNC (week 2), W
La. Tech fails to cover vs Navy, L
Miami blows out Georgia Tech, W
Oregon covers vs Utah, W
Tennessee covers vs Florida, W
Marshall wins outright over Bowling Green, W

------------------------------

My leans this week (so far, nothing official)...let me preface that it seems like we all are siding the same way but these were my initial ones when first looking at the lines on Monday...

Virginia Tech (not going to go crazy with this one)
NC State (a definite play, unless I see something scary jump out...likely a big play)
Bowling Green (very underrated defense and Boise's torrid ATS mark has to end when laying over two TDs all the time, right?)
Ohio State
Penn State
Boston College
Arkansas
South Carolina (tonight, probably not a play)

My initial feel was to stay off this game and continue to be selective.

The combination of touts (some sharps on Ole Miss, too) and the public really pounding Ole Miss hard made this a play.

Obviously I trust Stephen Garcia, Steve Spurrier, home field advantage on Thursday night, and the linebacker Eric Norwood for the Gamecocks.

Let's see Ole Miss prove that #4 ranking. It's not easy and I think Spurrier still has it. After all this was a SC victory last year so they have proven strong and now they have home field advantage on top.

1%, South Carolina Gamecocks (+4) (Bookmaker)

Updating the record as I move to 6-1 on the young season.

My max play is my "5%" and I've yet to have even a 3% in college football.

NC State could be that game on Saturday. Still capping it but it looks like a spot where I'm going to side with the safe QB in Russell Wilson, the home field advantage, and a good, underrated defense in NC State.

I think Pitt's a fraud and that they will really miss the services of LeSean McCoy.

Just simple thoughts.
