Fezzik over estimated the take back price. He had a very marginal scalp and nothing like he expected.

Fezzik is sharp, he takes the dog and under, he bets against the public from California. He has it all figured out.

The nine slot didn't help, nor did the fact that the true sharps identified that he had no business being a 2.5-1 favorite.

The scalp was still there. +250 was readily avialable all day (but I will admit the line tanked in the last 2 hours.....smart money).

But all those laying -3 at plus money could easily have played back +3 lenghts also at plus money and made some good coin.

In retrospect, the "spread lengths betting" carried the substantial scalp......

Maybe I exagerated the opportunity but any shopper still should have at least broken even, and I imagine 95% profited.

-280 to win it all and it has just started to steam.

Watch the squares wait until Saturday and lay it minus $3.80

What Idiot would bet a horse at -280???

If you did, you should take some time off and re-think your strategy before you go bankrupt.

Actually using $200 as a base bet betting SJ at -280 you would win $71.43 if he wins. At the track SJ went of at $.35 to one or $2.70 for a $2.00 bet and you would have won $70 if he wins. So the -280 was just a little bit better than track odds. Not to say that either was a good bet but the -280 was better than the track by a bit.

Pete thats what moderators do. I wasn't trying to correct you -just pointing out what the two payouts were. Either way you were right about them not being good bets.
