I agree about it being in bad taste.
I don't know what the underlying story is between Shrink and PM, but I don't see any obvious agenda on PM's part. It looks like he's making a real effort to offer up honest criticisms of the RX, which is what I thought this thread was all about.
I would think The Shrink should be thanking him instead of mocking him.

The Rx is the industry leader by far in my opinion but we all get sloppy sometimes in our work. I was just trying to give you a little shove in the right direction ( from my pov) objectively. All your hard work has paid off and usually reflects quite well on you.
None of us are perfect and that is the purpose of this thread, to help see what can be done to improve the site.

Charging for membership, even a modicum of a fee, would accomplish a number of things:
99% of the worst things about the Rx would vanish overnight.

eliminate "the worst things about" from your last sentence is probably more accurate.
i would not pay to be a memeber of any BB out of laziness rather than any financial reason and further am not aware of any BB's i might be interested in that do require payment.
