Not sure what number 4 did tonight...

But it sounds like it was really great.

What a player...I wonder if he threw a pass to himself... that he scored on? Wow!!!!

I see the Rightside lives in Michigan...probably a Lions fan, which means he knows nothing about pro football. Favre has won more games than anyone who has ever played the position...case closed.

Are you kidding me...Didn't you see Denver's innept play calling at the end of r:ohno:egulation...Denver handed the game to Green Bay....

I was on GB ML but I'd have to concur, in particular in the 2nd half. Green Bay did not win the game as much as Denver lost it. Shannahan played this game not to lose instead of to win. More times than not, you wind up losing like that.

you're not the only one wondering that. like Herm once said, 'you play to win the game!"

No offense to Favre or any other great sports icon, but I am sorry to say that no athlete has ever done the things that Tiger Woods does. The guy is in a 1 man league when it comes to the greatest sports figures of all time. And he's like 31 - scary.

Well, if you count basketball, LARRY BIRD put me in awe 3x more than MJ....

The amazing thing is, Larry turned it on when he wanted to. He wasn't
out there to break scoring records, but after McHale broke the
Celtics single game scoring record, Larry told Kevin it wasn't going to
last long.

9 days later:

March 12, 1985
Just nine days after Kevin McHale broke his previous team record with a 56-point outing against the Pistons, Bird goes off for 60 (22-36 FG, 15-16 FT) in a 126-115 win over the Hawks in New Orleans, hitting a jumper from the right elbow at the final buzzer. His best shot is a turnaround banker from just in front of the Atlanta bench that doesn't count (he had been fouled)—but it sends several Hawks tumbling out of their seats, laughing in disbelief. "It's Kevin's own fault," Bird says. "He should have gone for 60 that day, and I told him that."

And lets not forget about him (ok, I confess...me) shooting LEFT HANDED. Just for fun.

I guess you love a good game of horse, Fish, vs watching someone play both ends of the floor at level no white guy has ever reached. And please don't say Bird was a great defensive player, ok? No need to make yourself look any more white than you already have.

Hey Zit,

I'm white.... go f(ck yourself. And I liked Bird. He just couldn't carry MJ's jock when it came athleticism.

Whoa......... Wow! I will say that "Fish" is from the days I played and that being when there was defense in the game. I can't remember the last time I watched a full College or Pro game of Basketball? IMO just seems to be more and more about indivduals not the team concept so as you'll see in the end as has been the case forever the TEAM with players not just a player wins unless the Ref has Money on one side.......

BTW..whatever happened to that Ref who was charged with betting on games?
