About time he made up his mind. They better do something about that line or he'll get broken into 20 pieces.

jackass...hope he throws 30 pics and retires in disgrace

If he only throws 30 INTs, Green Bay should make the playoffs.

green bay might be worse this coming season than they were last year. offensive coordinator of the worst offense in football to head coach your team. no free agent signings. favre getting to big for his britches with this bullshit. "what are they going to do, cut me?" nice.

Favre and Roger Clemens with theie drama 'will I play , won't I play' crap.

I think some of the Packers diehards may even be a little ticked off at him...especially when he announced a press conference to announce he hadn't made up his mind...at that point he had to come back IMO...I never doubted he would be back though....I expect another mediocre (at best) season from him with GB, I still think he can play, just not with the talent they have.

i agree about the favre clemens bullshit drama.
i knew favre was coming back just like i know clemens will be back later this year as well.
its obvious neither one wants to retire. i wouldn't be surprised to see
favre and clemens play next year as well.

Clemens will be back in Houston more than likely now, with their hot start , if Houston was playing poorly he would have came east to NY or Bos...must be nice to sit and wait to see who you want to pitch for.

At least Favre finally made a decision. In being a life-long Packer backer, I just wish he would have accounced this much earlier and not made such a circus out of it. But if he has a great year and the Packers return to the playoffs, no one will remember the soap opera. On the otherhand, if he does throw 30 pics and the Packers suck, he will face alot of criticism.

At least Farve's decision was before the season and more importantly before the draft. Clemen's, well I think he is nervous about being roid free and wants to be sure he won't look like an ass before he comes back to play.

Not a Favre homer, but the guy really needs more than 1 receiver (Donald Driver) who will bust ass and catch a ball. GB receivers had alligator arms and showed Randy-Moss-like effort in many games that I watched, Driver is the only receiver who consistently played hard each game, each play.

Maybe it's because the receivers were tired of Favre's unpredictability and poorly-timed turnovers. I would love to see Favre come back for one great season and prove all they nay-sayers wrong, but he sure hasn't shown anything the past 3 years (other than his unwillingness to quit playing) to make us believe he can lead a team to the playoffs again.

And so it goes......

Bad move Brett. He is the Evander Holyfield of the NFL. Doesn't know when to quit. It's ashame it has come to this for Brett. How many more int's or poor decisions does he need to make to get it through his head that his time has come and gone in this league.
