please do tell more... he alongside stone cold, hhh and mankind are my favorite wrestlers, i stated watching just before the "attitude era", stopped in the early 2000's after the WCW merge and after the scripts began sucking or I just grew up. IRDK.

Ive heard bunch stuff about hbk... he probably was the greatest performer out there, the more athletic in his prime... but that he was a complete asshole outside the ring, lots of ego, lots of backstabbing or sabotaging other wrestlers, and lots of drug use especially alcohol and coke.

He's a changed man now supposedly but it would be nice to see what caused this... did you sell him bad coke?

this was back in 99-01. he had a wrestling school in san antonio and my room mate at the time was in hisschool. roommate told me he was always high on painkillers and rarely taught the class. he was really skinny at the time too. so anyways, I went down to mexico and got some gear and sold it to my roomie. well his other classmates found out about it and wanted me to get them some stuff too. I didnt see a huge deal in it, (i was only 21). so i got the stuff and they would come to my apt and get it. well hbk found out about it and one day when i dropped my roomie off for the class, hbk came out and asked me to get out of the car. he told me if he ever found out I was selling hin his gym parking lot that he would f'n kill me. said he had a wife and kid to think about. jammed his finger in my chest pretty hard. at the time i thought he was over reacting but looking back on it, he had a point. my roomie had a lot of stories about it. he said one time hbk was giving a speech to the students and an older woman came in and started whispering to one of the students. So HBK tells her to get the hell out of his gym and even shoves her (not to hard) towards the door. I asked if the old woman was just a crazy, or an autograph hound or what not, my roomie said, "no, it was his mother!". I have to admit, i did laugh at that.

all these stories bring back great memories.
Anybody remember S D "Special Delivery" Jones -- one of my favorite wrestlers back in the day.
He rarely ever won a fight but always put on a good show.

Also used to really love watching the
old NWA fights between "Natureboy" Rick Flair, Ricky 'The Dragon" Steamboat,
Lex Luger, Sting.

About seven years ago, I happened to bump into Rick Flair in Manhattan (NY).
He had on a suit and had just finished a meeting and was waiting for Linda Mcmahon.
I was surprised at how wide and broad his shoulders were -- he looked bigger
in person than on TV. He was also red as a tomato.... maybe fake tan.

Awesome, selling roids on Sean Michaels turf. Love it.

I can't top any of these stories, but one night me and a few buddies were out running around our little 2 stop light town. We were 15-17 and stopped in the local Speedway to get food, gas, or whatever. We are getting ready to check out and in walks China and Triple H. We were awestruck. They signed an autograph and took off. It was pretty cool.

My uncle's redneck friend supposedly pulled a knife on Nikita and Ivan Koloff in Greenville SC and either was A. arrested at tring side or B. banned from the arena. Can't remember exactly what the exact story was as it was many years ago and the redneck guy has long since passed away.

LOL. Yeah I think he had a reason to do that, if they catch you selling at HBK's turf the 1st suspect is not gonna be you its gonna be him, especially with his drug history. The reason why he was on painkillers all the time was the same reason why he had to retire and lay down for stone cold on wrestlemania XIV (I was a big fan bag then, 13yo kid). Here's a video of how he got injured... some people cant believe he was able to walk, much less come back from retirement.

Many fond memories of wrestling in the 80's

We had about 6 or 7 turds that went to watch AWA Wrestling.

You know what kind of fans you get at these extravaganzas..Well this one dude that was really into it had a little tape recorder getting all the sounds of the bouts. Well one of the turds told this guy that I was Stanley Blackburn, President of the AWA. He recorded me for 15 minutes. I was making up all kinds of shit.

Got all gassed and turned all the lights out at the arena one night.

Went into the bathroom with another turd friend with a hundred dollar bill wrapped around a bunch of ones. While standing in line we were pretending to wager a thousand dollars on the Verne Gagne/Mad Dog Vachon match. People could not believe we were doing this. Hilarious

Ran into Bret Hart in a hotel bar taking this UGLY girl up to his room. We gave old Bret a bunch of shit as he was walking to his room. He fingered us and laughed

Drank beer with George "The Animal" Steele one night. If you guys know George he never talked and had the green tongue. This guy was very smart and great to talk to. He was a high school teacher in Michigan when he was not wrestling.

Took a piss next to Mad Dog Vachon and he lets out the loudest, stinkiest fart you ever heard and laughed his ass off about it.

I could go on all night with these. Fun times

coincidentally, Lance Cade was one of the guys who wanted some gear. he was a major juicer, never cycled off. guy died at like 29 a few years ago.
