Favorite Sushi?

Mine is called a "Texas" Roll at a local fave establishment of the wife and I...

It has tuna and tempura flakes inside of rice topped with chopped salmon and sesame seeds.

Going there tonite to ring in the new year... curious what fellow sushi lovers enjoy.

I'm not sure what's in it but the "Big Island" from a local place here in town is delicious. I don't like most sushi but this one kicks ass.

Does anyone else hold their head up when eating a piece of sushi with wasabi and ginger?

If I don't do that I end up sneezing and getting wasabi vapor into my sinuses and that ain't good. :nohead:

Beef Negamaki...it's not fish but they serve these rolls at sushi places, try it and you'll never order anything else at a sushi place again.

Same. Have not had it in years, but it's great.

Tried octopus once. Finished it, but that was a little too hard core for me. It wasnt even served as a roll. It's just raw octopus on small pieces of caked rice pretty much.
