Fastest Round

What's the fastest round of golf you have ever played? A buddy and I teed off this morning at 7:15(shared a cart), and were through by 9:05. We were the first group on the course, never rushed a single shot, played from 7,000 yards, and putted out everything.

playing by myself , i walked 9 holes in 47 minutes . do it quite often as matter a fact.

when i worked at a club in the philly area , i could go out at 6 pm with no one in front of me and play 18 using a cart in less than 90 minutes.

didnt take long to shoot 70

wasted too much time walking from the cart to the green and back.

i think i recall few years ago may have been more daly was paired in first group to go out on a sunday and i think he and the other guy finished in like and hour and 29 minutes.........pga wasnt too happy about it ill try and find it if i can.....think both guys shot around 78 79

I recall that...I think he played with a spotter(not a player in the tournament)....I don't see why the PGA should be upset at someone playing fast, but then it's the PGA so I understand

Played with Steak Tartar a few times...took us 30 minutes to play the first hole!!! Between the booze, lost balls, and mulligans, we barely finished before twilight.....but we had a great time!!!

Me and my buddy went thru a foursome on the third hole the other day and when we finished 18, they were teeing off number 10....

And I heard if you would have made a few putts, you would have finished at 8:55.....

Pretty sure I've never played in less than 2:45.

Usually takes around 4:30 on a weekend. I can't stand waiting or being rushed in golf...it makes the round suck.

Got done in 4 hrs yesterday..."3 min ahead of schedule" according to the cart even though we were contantly waiting on 4 high schoolers who were walking...and ahead of them...not one, but TWO women playing.

Women slow up the entire course, and I won't play directly behind them ever again. Terrible women golfers make me want to quit golf at times.

that's brutal as well. hurry up already. we are playing for money too, but geez.

Best I've ever done was about 2 1/2 hours. We played on the wide open International course at Cedar Valley. There aren't any sandtraps on the course. Just aim at the flags and go. We probably could have cut 10 minutes off of that time if he hadn't stopped for a couple adult beverages.
