Alright, I put my $368 up for my FF draft tomorrow. I am going to try to win it this year. We are in a RB heavy league, as there are no point per reception.

I draft 6th...think these players most likely will be gone by my pick.
McCoy, Lacy, Forte, Brees.

I only know Brees is going to be gone because my father in law will pick him. Leaving me with two picks I really don't want to make.
Adrian Peterson or Jamaal Charles.

I do not think either of them are going to shine as expected regardless of what the experts say about Charles, nor do I think they belong in the top 6 picks. So here is what I am thinking. We have 12 teams so I have pick number 6 and pick number 19 and 30.

Rd 1) Calvin Johnson
Rd 2) Dez Bryant (if available) If not, Julio Jones or AJ Green. I think Green is the better option. One of them will be on the board.
Rd 3) Marshawn Lynch (if available) If not I think Vereen and A Morris will still be there.
Rd 4) Tom Brady (hate to let him go any further, he will be the #1 QB in the NFL this year....definite sleeper).
Rd 5) Another RB - DeAngelo Williams, Steven Jackson, Fred Jackson

The rest of the draft (20 rounds) is going to be based on availability, but I know the ass clowns in the league I play with. Saints players will be gone quickly, Jimmy Graham will go in the first rounds as well as Brees.

I may let Brady slide in the fourth round if Zac Stacy, Lamar Miller or Gore (yikes) is available.

Stacy is the clear cut number one, and Tre Mason will be an easy handcuff for Stacy 12th round or later.

Lamar Miller is the clear cut number one, and I think he will have a great year.

Gore is asking for more carries in SF, but I gotta think his time is just about up as a top tier FF running back.

I will try to pick up a solid TE in the 6th. Gronkowski MAY be there, if not Witten or Charles Clay will round out my 3 starting WR.

Greg Jennings is on my sleeper list as well.

Andy Dalton is in his contract year, so he may break out, although I am not crazy about him.

Oh and Dez Bryant is in his last year of his rookie year contract. He is set to make 1.75 million this year, VASTLY underpaid.

He will be a beast this year.

I think both Charles and AP would be great picks in that spot, assuming they're available

if you want Brees and he's not there, why not Manning? he's a fantasy machine

PS: if Brady is a sleeper, it's because of Gronk. He can be your difference maker

Well, Charles has had his O-line decimated this offseason. He is somewhat injury prone.

I do like Peterson, but Megatron will not be available on the way back. He is hands down a better fantasy option to me than either AP or Charles.

Megatron will get 2000 yards and probably 18-20 TDs. I don't think Charles or AP will get numbers close to that. Our league also gives bonuses for over 100 yards receiving or rushing, and Megatron is almost a shoe in every game for that. In addition, plays of 50+ yards get a 1 point bonus, and plays of 75+ yards get a 3 point bonus. Megatron definitely gets his share of bonus points.

I will be thin at RB if I take this strategy, but it is fantasy, it doesn't matter where the points come from.

What is your take on the New England RB situation? Vareen the #1? Who will be #2?

Brady's defense is healthy this year as well which means more touches for him. One thing I know about Brady is he is a competitor, and I think he goes after Manning's TD record.

take a flyer on Bolden deep

he runs hard and is productive when given the chance

Ridley is fumble prone, already fumbled in preseason, he's just dying to give the job away

So who is the number one if the season starts today. Vareen or Ridley

And Boldin will only be helped with the addition of Crabtree back into the lineup.

Bolden at RB for NE is a late, late scoop.

I'm talking about the Pat's Bolden at RB

listed as Ridley 1, Vareen 2 and Bolden 3

Ridley will do most of the running until he gives the job away, Bolden will get his chances

Vareen is 1B no matter what, he runs some and is their receiving back. I would take Vareen and avoid Ridley, with a flyer on Bolden late
