we may have to put in some money to get a sponsor. maybe put in 50 each and then they double the pot to 1200 or 1500.

Jake - The league you setup sounds fine. I've tried setting up fantasy football leagues before and it will be impossible to make everyone happy. It's a free league so I say we just play however you set it up.

A few people discussed interest in not even including TE's so I figured that the ability to start 1 would be fine. It's hard to make flex spots on Yahoo because they offer a WR/RB and a WR/TE flex individually and not a big mixture.

If someone wants to sponsor the league, that would be awesome, but it was pitched as a free league and it's a little late to change it now.

So any sponsors? For the low low price of sponsoring our league, you will get publicity in every single post relating to the league. If it's an RX affiliated book maybe the members of the league can set up the addy for their signature during the duration of the NFL seasoN? Who knows. Just an idea. A sponsor would be nice but it will be fun either way. Guys that have yet to email me, please do so today if you get a chance, or definately by Sunday.

hey jake are you sure you can be that specific with yahoo's scoring? Not sure if they allow all those rules like -1pt for missed FG etc.

have you played around with it at all?

The draft will be at 10 PM EST on Sunday night. If you can't make it you should set someone up to draft for you because I'll have to give the team away if no one is there to draft.

The draft is going to take place on therx. We will have a 3 minute wait between picks for the first 2 rounds and then after that it will be a 2 minute wait. If you miss your pick, you will receive the top pick from last year's class. You really should sit out all 14 rounds because it's possible you'll get stuck with 4 kickers if you miss out on your picks. If anyone has problems with that let me know.

I know yahoo has a live draft that you can chat back and forth on and it is easy for everyone to see everyone's picks.

How are we going to do it on the forum? Just take turns posting our pick?

KMAN, I think with Yahoo's live draft you have to sign up like 2 weeks in advance. I'd rather do it now then wait...

I'll keep track of picks with excel to make sure no one messes up and I'll post rosters after each pick so guys can look what they have. I think it will work out.

why don't everybody put up 25-50 bucks... at a book to hold before the season starts... Then the 1st place guy gets money and the 2nd place guy can get what is left.... you can have unlimited trades and pickups. This should make it better. Also if somebody doesn't put up any money they can't win the prize... Or you can talk to a book to sponsor it....
