With all of the sports gurus on this site....I thought it might be a good place to ask this question:

If you are going to run a fantasy league (football, say).....what is a good website to run it through. I saw that cbssportsline has one for $130...while fanball has one for $60. Why the price discrepancy? Does anyone have any other recommendations on where to start a league?

Yahoo Sports

Used it last 3 years - top notch.

Free league setup is really very good. Choose the $$ option only if you really need the exotic features.

We use Cbssportline and it's as good as it gets for following play by play, injuries, free agents, and what going on in the leauge etc.....well worth the extra dough!!!

I really like the Yahoo free format as well.

We use Sportsline for the weekly office pool at work and everyone (myself included) really has a hard time registering. Its not an easy site to navigate.

Fantasybowl is good:103631605 Been using them for 3 years now. I also use CBS. I would have to say CBS Sportsline is the best.

www.myfantasyleague.com

Not flashy, but has MANY customisable functions that you won't find on CBSSportsline. The latter is waaaay overpriced IMO and they screw up scoring routinely. Been using MFL for six years now with no complaints.

http://www.rtsports.com/

I have used RTSports for the last couple of years now, and the value is excellent. Their customer service has been outstanding. Any time I had a question, they responded within 45 mninutes, and a real person responded, not some canned "we are working on your problem" response. They are a good middle ground between the unnecessary bells and whistles of CBS and the starkness of myfantasyleague.
