War of the Worlds...wasn't that originally a live radio broadcast that scared the shit out of ppl? Pretty good hoax there.

Yeah it was , people who were listening to it on the radio FREAKED OUT . Police stations were flooded with phone calls , people got in their cars & just took off from their homes , etc ..... even some deaths were reported but never confirmed . In fact people were pissed off & sued the radio station & Orson welles
