found it rather interesting that gas prices have been falling significantly in recent months, didn't give it too much thought as to why, but there was nothing real obvious to me as to why. What has been changing?
Wednesday morning I began to wonder if speculators were pulling back because it was becoming obvious the GOP was going to control both congressional chambers. And with that control, it becomes much more likely that the Keystone Pipeline will be built and obstacles to developing conventional energy sources will have been mitigated.
Certainly is plausible, and probably has some roll in it all since speculation is an important variable.
Hope that trend continues for so many reasons, primarily because Obama's espousing and delivering of higher energy costs is one of the primary reasons for Obama's economic malaise.
