I rarely post here anymore but I wanted to give others a heads up if they are thinking about Fairlay.
Yesterday, I put in a cashout request. I provided the wallet address, had it confirmed via email on file, and made the request.
It has been close to 20 hours now - no that's not a typo - and nothing in my wallet. The Fairlay account does show the funds have been deducted.
I have emailed Fairlay support several times and always get the canned resonse "We'll get back to you as soon as possible."
I even tried to contact them via the forum but for some interesting reason, my post is not showing up on the thread. For anyone interested, the link for the forum is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=673475
Now Fairlay touts how their lines are better than average and that is true in my experience. However, what good is it when there are cashout issues? That's what really matters.
Maybe they are holding ALL funds until this bitcoin fork settles down. But there are others across the street who, like me, are also having problems making withdraws from Fairlay.
So do yourself a favor and stick to the established offshore books.
At this point, I'd be surprised if I see anything from my Fairlay.
Of course, if they decide to do the right thing, I will update this thread.
