Im going to miss him like crazy.
Best TE I've ever seen.

No the reason I agree with it is because we got the best center in the NFL and a first round pick and cleared a lot of salary.

We had the worst center in the league last season.
Brees has to have elite protection up the middle to be successful.
That was the whole problem last season.
He had no time to throw.

Brees can handle pressure coming from the outside like a champ, but he is very vulnerable to pressure up the middle with his small size.

We won a Super Bowl without Graham before, so I think they can do it again.

You haven't seen too many TEs I guess.....

If you are in a big sell mode like the Braves and looking to make a splash with the new stadium after moving out of downtown Atlanta in a few years there is no reason to keep a high-priced closer no matter how great he is as his opportunities should be more limited with saves........All their moves are designed to have good, young prospects with a more clear payroll for the new stadium......This is important as they want to make a big splash in the early years of the new stadium there to sell more tickets which obviously they think is more possible moving to a new location outside of downtown Atlanta

The stadium in its current location has a logistics problem especially when traffic builds up from downtown and a demographics one as a chunk of the areas around the stadium don't even go to the games.......The elephant in the room is a lot more white people go to baseball games (at least here)....This is also a reason why they are moving outside of downtown Atlanta.....They are just catering more to their base of fans to attempt to sell more tickets in the new stadium since they are offering greater convenience and the novelty of a new stadium in a few years....Thus, this is what they are building for right now and why they are making these moves.

They were getting rid of Kimbrel before July anyway so that wasn't a shocker...........They just did it a lot earlier plus got rid of Upton's contract amazingly........Several prospects now and money freed up plus some young players to build around........A .500 season this year would be an amazing managerial job by Freddy............Should be good by 2017 hopefully for the new stadium although next year they might be spending for 2016....(depends on how quick some prospects develop).........

Maybin is a 245 career hitter. He's a beast in the night clubs though.

Breakout year for Maybin, write it down. As solid as your 2012 election prediction, good fit for Braves. Kid grew up 2 1/2 hours outside of Atlanta and has been waiting for this deal

I think in terms of straight value it is a decent deal but I think it would be better to keep Graham, get a cheaper upgrade at C and try to win while Brees is in his prime. Atleast the tail end of it.

1st rd picks are great but if I had Brees I'd just be trying to win for the next 3 years and nothing further. Not sure getting rid of Graham makes that more likely.
