Sportsbook.com has a weekly $25,000 Football Pick 6 contest. They had me listed as the winner for Week One on their website for 8 hours on Wednesday. The scoring system is quite complex so I never bothered to verify how many points I had... but I knew I had picked a pretty good fantasy team.
After I had told friends and family of my $3,500 win, they post this on the site:
"Original Scoring was done on 5 players instead of 6 by mistake. Here are this weeks correct winners. We apologize for any inconvenience caused."
Even then, they still had the wrong person listed in 3rd place, a contestant with less points than me.
Hey Sportsbook.com, you incompetent jackasses.... bend over and I'll show you some inconvenience!

If you have any issues with the contest you can send an email to contest@sportsbook.com.

I know for a fact that the guy that grades the event had a death in the family and has been out of the office.

thats a free contest you need not be a member to play

do you actually play there or are you bitching because you really didn't win free money?

Could it be that you weren't really the winner and you knew you weren't and now you are bitter?

Anyone recall the name of the golfer who pulled the fake winning lottery ticket stunt on his wife for Christmas?

muir416, tough break. If they had any PR sense whatsoever they'd you a credit at the sportsbook or something. That's brutal.

Hopefully, you're not married and your wife hadn't already spent your 'winnings', lol.
