With this "global cooling" kicking in, it will be one cold World Series if NY & Philly get in.

Baseball outdoors in early November in those two cities was not my favorite passtime.

Solid post.

Have you ran individual game win probablities through a binomial distribution model to accurately gauge what your fair value is?

Agree with the huge bullpen disparity. Whether or not it is being reflected in the market price is questionable. An interesting topic would be whether going to a 3 man adds or subtracts value to the Phillies bullpen worth.

Best of luck.

wtf does that even mean?? anyone? holy shit

Well Dodgers played well but Sherrill and Kershaw threw a couple of bad pitches. Nothing you can do when your team gets 14 hits and leaves a ton of men on base..

Casey Blake was horrible.. Dodgers could of easily won and they didn't.. Us Dodger backers have to hold our nuts and hope Wolf can pitch a gem and hope this time the Dodgers get the timely hits.

Not over yet, not thrilled were facing 0-2 with Lee up but our boys played well, Kershaw and Sherill were horrible though, who would of known?

I'm not giving up yet.. Dodgers showed a lot of resiliency and have played with tons of heart all season..

Dodgers hit the shit of the Phillies today.. If someone would of told me the Dodgers would of got 14 hits today I would of thought they won for sure.

Sherill who has been automatic all season decides to get lit up today, unfuckinbelievable.

Torre should quit already. The jerk left Kershaw in to long and in the 9th with two on he lets an 0 fer 4 idiot (Blake) hit into a double play. Didn't Torre ever hear of a pinch hitter? Torre was just standing there like he was watching from the stands. He looked like he was in a trance.

I don't think it is a good move to have Kershaw pitching in game 5 in Philadelphia. Why not have Padilla pitch on 4 days rest in game 5 (off day on Saturday, 2 more games, then another off day between games 4 and 5)? Allow Kershaw to pitch at HOME in game 6, then choose between Wolf and Kuroda in game #7.

Huge mistake in my opinion.

Is Torre senile?

yeah.. I'm not so sure about Kershaw either.. but I think Torre will take him out as soon as he starts walking too many batters and hand the ball over to Chad Billingsley who's been chosen to pitch in relief for this series.
