Everybody I have seen today loves <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">San Jose St.</st1:address></st1:Street> tonight and the line suggests taking them, but I don't see it. <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Boise St.</st1:address></st1:Street> destroyed them last year 42-7 and they beat <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Oregon</st1:place></st1:State> on the road this year so it's not like they are a fluke. <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">San Jose St.</st1:address></st1:Street> lost to two shit teams in <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Nebraska</st1:place></st1:State> and Stanford and their offense is pretty much nothing. Their QB threw 3 INT last week and they only won because they got 2 pick 6's. I know their defense is in the Top 15, but they haven't faced an offense like <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Boise St.</st1:address></st1:Street> this year.

What am I missing here?

Not trying to say you guys are wrong I just want to know more San Jose St. because I haven't watched them this year.

The think the key to this one tonight is the line.

Why did it only open a 8 and not 10 1/2 to 14 1/2?

Why has the line gone down a full point when 70 to 80 percent of the public is on Boise St?

Why would the books set themselves up for an ass beating on such a low number if they didn't think SJS doesn't cover or maybe win?

I'll take the points and and hope SJS shows up tonight.

I don't look into the line that much. Vegas knows San Jose St. plays great at home, but looking at the stats I don't know why everybody is on them. Everybody is talking about their defense, but Boise St. defense has allowed 7 or fewer points in 5 of their 6 games this year. Their defense gave up 32 points to Oregon, but they had a huge lead by the 4th quarter and let them comeback.

Boise St. knows they have to win every game this year to make a BCS game and I don't see them looking past San Jose St. tonight like they did the previous meetings.

Why are you demanding insight, go look around in other people's threads. If you're so set that you want to play Boise, play Boise, stop asking around, then after the game when SJST covers or wins, you'll just be in disbelief. Just like last game, most people were on Auburn, coaching mismatch, conference mismatch...blah blah, and what happened? Many people even played the ML thinking they were getting good +150 odds...

You have the time to post numerous times in this threads, you have the time to find data/stats on both these teams and what they're both capable of

Boise State San Jose

I'm a Boise State fan, so my opinion should be taken with that in mind. I have won with the points on San Jose the last two times that Boise State has played there. However, tonight I will be taken BSU to cover the points. Boise State's offense isn't what it has been in past years, but our defense hasn't allowed more than 7 points in any game other than at Oregon. We held Southern Miss to only 7 at their house, and their offense has proven to be explosive in other games this season. I don't like BSU to score in bundles tonight, but I think the defense to hold it down to where a bundle of points aren't needed. Prediction: Boise State 24 San Jose 13

I'm just trying to get some info about San Jose St. and I checked other threads, but nobody has a valid reason besides they will cover. Calm down man I'm not trying to shit here. Only thing this thread is for is making money and I'm trying to get a feel for who to take tonight.

Obviously you haven't looked around enough.
Who would want to retype everything they already said?

I understand that, but those were at SJST. You forget Boise St. beat them 42-7 last year at home. Boise St. might not have a good of an offense as they did before, but their defense is twice as good. Nothing shows me SJST can put up 17-20 points on their defense which will be needed to get the cover.
