$2000.00 Play. Take #200 Detroit (-7.5) over Kansas City (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18)
The Lions looked like they could have blown out Tampa Bay on the road last week. This week I think that they will blow out the Chiefs. Kansas City lost by 33 points at home last week to a bad Buffalo team. I think that they will get beaten just as badly this week by a good Detroit team. The Lions have a lot of firepower on offense. And after getting blown out a lot over the past decade I think Detroit is ready to turn the tables! This Kansas City team has looked terrible in the preseason and they looked terrible last weekend. I don't see them turning it around on the road this week. Detroit has covered six straight spreads and they are 7-1 ATS in their last eight home games.

$2100.00 Play. Take #207 Baltimore (-5.5) over Tennessee (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18)
This play is from my 411 System and it is my Game of the Week. Jacksonville controlled the ball for 40 minutes last week against Tennessee. The Jaguars pushed the Titans around. Baltimore is going to do the same thing. The Ravens played one of the best games of the weekend in Week 1 against a Steelers team that was in the Super Bowl last year. I don't think that they are going to have any trouble with this bad Titans team. Tennessee was very sloppy on offense and they were really pushed around. Baltimore is going to play the same physical style and they will pound them with the rushing game on offense and beat up the Titans offensive line with the pas rush on defense. Tennessee is struggling to pick up Mike Munchak's system and there are a lot of new parts that are still working together. Not having Chris Johnson in the preseason has hurt the offensive chemistry of this team and I don't think that they will recover. Baltimroe should win this one 30-13.

$700.00 Play. Take #202 New York Jets (-9) over Jacksonville (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18)
Jacksonville was able to rally around starter Josh McCown last week and hold off Tennessee for a win. But things will be different against the Jets. New York's defense is much better than Tennessee's. If the Jets can stop Jacksonville's running game then I don't know how the Jaguars are going to be able to score enough points to really keep this game close. The Jets defense should dominate this one here.

$600.00 Play. Take #211 Green Bay (-9).5 over Carolina (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18)
Green Bay had extra time to prepare for this game but I don't think that they even need it. The defending Super Bowl champions looked outstanding against the Saints in their home opener. I do not see how Carolina will be able to stop Green Bay's offense and I don't even expect Green Bay's starters to play the whole game. The Packers have a lot of weapons and they will keep the pressure on the Carolina defense all day long. Cam Newton had a great opening game. But he is still a rookie quarterback and he is going to be inconsistent. This is his first game seeing a top-notch 3-4 defense and I think that he will struggle in this one. The road team is 5-1 ATS in this series and the Packers are 4-1-1 ATS in their last six trips to Carolina.

$800.00 Play. Take #217 Dallas (-3) over San Francisco (4 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18)
Dallas lost on Sunday Night Football to the Jets last week. But they played good football for most of that game but just blew it in the end. I don't think that this team is going to want to start 0-2 and face the wrath of Jerry Jones. Coach Jason Garrett does not want to start his tenure 0-2 and I think that he will have his team ready to play in this matchup of rookie coaches and rebuilding teams. Dallas was able to move the ball against the Jets last week. I think that they will be able to do the same thing against the Niners this time around. The Cowboys are 7-2 ATS going back to last year and covered the spread in Week 1. I think they continue to cash against a San Fran team that is just 6-22-3 ATS after a win of two touchdowns or more.
