$2200.00 Take 'Under' 41.0 Miami at Buffalo (1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18)
This number has not been released at all books. I will update it on Sunday if there is a big change in the total. But I was ready to play this game at 40.0 but some friends in the business in Las Vegas have told me that the number should be released around 42.0 or 42.5. Regardless, I don't know if there will be more than 30 points scored in this one. There are snow showers in the forecast and the temperature will be below freezing at kickoff. The Bills offense has really fallen apart. They have scored 11 or fewer points in four of their last six games and are averaging just under 13 points per game in that stretch. Miami has scored over 20 points in just three of its last 10 games and they are No. 23 in points scored with just 19.7 per game. The 'under' is 8-3 in Buffalo's last 11 home games and the 'under' is 7-3-1 the last 11 times these teams have met up. The 'under' is 21-6 in Miami's last 27 home games and I think that we will see another low scoring affair on Sunday. Miami is just 2-10-1 against the total here and I don't see either team lighting up the scoreboard. Play the 'under' here as this one should be a sloppy game that is about field position and defense.

$800.00 Take #316 Houston (-6) over Carolina (1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18)
This play is from my NFL 411 System. People continue to doubt this Houston team but I will continue to make money on them. They will get a huge boost playing at home this week and if they were good enough to beat Atlanta at home by a touchdown they are good enough to beat a bad Carolina team. Carolina is just 2-4 ATS in its last six games and their only wins came against bad Tampa Bay and Indianapolis teams. The Panthers are coming off two straight emotional divisional games and now they are back on the road for their fourth road game in five weeks. That is too much travel for this young team. I think Came Newton will be shut down by one of the best defenses in football and Carolina doesn't stand a chance of slowing down the Houston running game. The Panthers are 4-12 ATS as an underdog and just 3-9 ATS against a team with a winning record. Houston is 6-0-1 ATS overall and 5-1-1 ATS at home.

$600.00 Take #321 Detroit (-1) over Oakland (4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18)
Oakland has been on a downward spiral for the last month and they are starting to realize it was a mistake to bring in Carson Palmer. This team has not been competitive over the last two weeks and they have lost those games by a combined score of 80-30. Detroit is a team that is fighting for its playoff spot and they will not slip up on the road here. Detroit's only losses have come against the best teams in the NFC. They have big road wins at Dallas and Denver this year and I think that they will take care of the sagging Raiders. The Lions are 5-2-1 ATS on the road and 7-3-1 ATS as a favorite. The Raiders are just 20-43 ATS in their last 63 games in December and I don't think they will have an answer to the Detroit passing game.

$2000.00 Take #323 New England (-6.5) over Denver (4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18)
This play is from my NFL 411 System. I think that Denver's luck is going to run out this week. They have won six straight games. But besides a comeback win at San Diego they have yet to beat a quarterback that is in the Top 10 in football. Tom Brady represents a unique challenge. He and Bill Belichick won't take Denver lightly. New England has won five games straight and all of those wins have come by a touchdown or more. The Patriots lost in their last trip to Mile High in overtime in 2009 and they won't have forgotten that game either. I will take Brady over Tim Tebow in this situation and I think that Denver's poor passing game is really going to cripple them in this one.

$600.00 Take #329 Baltimore (-2.5) over San Diego (8:20 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 18)
The Chargers have looked good over the last two weeks and look like they may be getting into the AFC West race late. But I do not think they will. San Diego beat two bad teams in Buffalo and Jacksonville and this team is still just 2-6 SU and ATS in its last eight games. San Diego doesn't have a quality win yet this year and the Ravens are 4-1 SU and ATS in the last five meetings. The Ravens are still very motivated because they need to hold off Pittsburgh to win the AFC North. Baltimore is getting Ray Lewis back and I think that they will continue their excellent defensive play in this one. Baltimore will win a close one and put an end to San Diego's playoff hopes.
