So it sounds like a 411 play at 1pm, and another 411 play later. But only the early one is an investment play. At least that's how I read things, because it has been stated there are two 411 plays this week.

Best of luck Ace.

As far as I know there are two investment plays. (If I remember correctly, any play that ACE bets $2k+ on is an investment play, any play that is $800 or less is an action play). So regardless whether it is 411 or something else... as long as it carries a $2k+ pricetag it is investment.

Ace, if I'm wrong please correct me.

I was already on the Steelers. Glad to hear it is one of your plays. Not so happy to hear you on Atlanta though....

$2000.00-Unit Play. Take #457 Atlanta (-2.5) over Chicago (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11)
This play is from the 411 System and it is my Game of the Week.

I really like the Falcons this year. This is a team that has the potential to go to the Super Bowl and I think that they will get it started with a big win in their opener. This play scored the highest according to my 411 System filters and statistics. But even if it hadn't I would have been on to this spot because I think that the line is telling the story. Chicago was in the NFC Championship Game last year. But now they are home underdogs in their home opener. That tells me exactly what the sportsbooks think about this Chicago team. The Falcons are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 Week 1 games while the Bears are just 3-7 ATS in their season openers. The Falcons are stronger on both sides of the ball and their quarterback is much more accurate and reliable. I think the Falcons make a statement here and we will cash big in the process.

$2000.00-Unit Play. Take 'Under' 35.5 Cincinnati at Cleveland (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11)
AND
$500-Unit Play. Take #466 Cleveland (-6.5) over Cincinnati (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11)

I like the home team to take care of business here. But I like a low scoring game even more. These teams have two very young quarterbacks. Colt McCoy is in just his second year and Andy Dalton is a rookie starter on the road. I expect both of them to struggle. And the young quarterbacks will have issues because they don't have a lot of help from their receivers. But both of these teams have very strong running games and two of the best running backs in football. Both of these coaches will try to pound the ball on the ground and take the air out of this game. It is a divisional game and it should be a tight, low-scoring one. I like Cleveland to be the more organized so I think that they will win this game 20-10.

$700.00-Unit Play. Take #453 Pittsburgh (+2.5) over Baltimore (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11)
This play is from the 411 System.
I am going to go with the veteran Steelers here and this play meets a significant criteria for my 411 System plays. The Steelers have a very veteran team and they are going to be focused going into Baltimore here in Week 1. I think that the Steelers are going to give the rebuilt Ravens offensive line a lot of problems and they should control the tempo from the outset. I think that the lockout helped this aging Steelers team because it helped them rest up during the offseason. They should be very fresh here and should match Baltimore's intensity level. Pittsburgh is 8-2 ATS as an underdog and it is a role that they relish. The Steelers have also covered the spread in six of the last seven meetings with their rivals and I think that they get me an outright winner here.

$600.00-Unit Play. Take #463 Philadelphia (-4.5) over St. Louis (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 11)
This line is very low considering all of the buzz around the Eagles this offseason. They may not live up to the Dream Team name but this is still a very talented club. They have as much speed as any team in the NFL and I don't think that the home team here will be able to defend Philadelphia's passing game. The Eagles have always had a lot of success against the Rams, going 7-1-1 ATS in the last nine meetings. I don't like being on the same side of the public on this one but this line is short and I think that the Eagles will walk out of St. Louis with a hard-fought touchdown win.

1-10 start in CFB and now this...

Getting absolutely took to the woodshed today as well. Both system plays DOA and the total only needs one more score to be dead as well. Fantastic chance of posting a doughnut...and no shot at all of have a winning day. Don't know what to say other than that I am very, very disappointed. Hopefully this will turn around soon.

Ace-Ace,

Keep up the amazing work. Regardless of results today, your work is always appreciated.

Question for you: any impact the lockout may have on your 411 system?

no one is forcing you to play. all decisions in the end rest with yourself. no blame.

This is why systems will never work. Bet against the most public plays. It is not about handdicapping.

talk is cheap, son, post your picks, then we'll see if your theory really works..

a little bump in the road boys, if you handle ok money management you'll be counting that paper on the end of the season! gl AA

Ignore, ignore, ignore guys. Every year you have people coming in here and trashing anytime there's a bad weekend. More times than not, it's some new guy (i.e. 10 posts, member since Sept. 2011...3 posts, member since March, etc.). Why waste the energy? If you like Ace and want to follow his picks, he's got a pretty good history. If you don't, you don't have to follow his picks. The immaturity comes from people that feel they need to come in here and just shit on everyone. Why give these trolls any fuel? They're simply trying to get a rise out of you. If you ignore them, they'll go away.
