I'm 8-1 in the past 9, losing the last one.

Bush has the CIA powers working against him, probably assisting in some recent leaks/untimely news stories. More stories, a scandal...before next Tuesday - nothing would surprise.

Since 1974, the undecideds in Presidential polls have effectively broken 86% for the challenger.

Newly registered types are phone screeners and cell-phoners. They aren't reflected adequately in polling and clearly trend toward Kerry.

Barring tricks from the Diebold computer voting company or a terrorist event or the surfacing of a captured/killed Osama Bin Laden, I calculate Kerry at -135, over 57% to win.

It's my second biggest bet of the year behind the Detroit Pistons in the NBA Finals.

Dubya will follow into this year's junk heap of arrogant front-runners - joining the Lakers and Yankees.

Thanks for the early post ACE....I'm taking off for my annual deer hunt in Arizona otherwise I'd be going to see my Bolts play...Hope things don't get too ugly at the "Q" when the Raider Nation comes to town. It's the only game of the season when all fans are patted down before entering....and beer sales end after haltime....and being halloween on Sun.....watch out...
