With respect to the vaccine and the pandemic, everyone was not in the black or white camp.
Many of us, if not the majority, opposed vaccine mandates, opposed shut downs, opposed school closings, opposed mandatory masking and supported free choice. The real irony here is how both extremes opposed that free choice thing.
The data made available to the free world was very selective, that was wrong. Any dissension form the official position was ridiculed and silenced, that too was wrong. Science is about considering all variables.
The virus was real, maybe overstated, but still very real. Worldwide deaths soared in 2020 and 2021 and they've returned to the norm since. That suggests to me the virus was infinitely more deadly than the vaccine is.
Like every medical procedure in the history of mankind, the vaccine impacted some people severely, you ever watch an ad for a pharmaceutical or a medical procedure? There are side effects, without exception. One of the big problems with the vaccine is that the government pretended there were no side effects. Still, suggesting the vaccine was worse than the virus is just plain silly. A better argument may be that we didn't need the vaccine, or the vaccine should have been voluntary. We did learn how to treat the virus before the vaccine was released
I received the vaccine 3/1/21 and 3/22/21 and the first booster 12/21. Nothing since 2021
I know nobody first hand that died from the virus. But I know of at least 25 people who died from the virus 2nd or 3rd hand, all in a very short time frame. I know tons of people that were inflicted by the virus, some seriously, a few hospitalized
I know nobody first hand who died from the vaccine. I only know of one death from the vaccine, that being from an internet friend who lost a family member. I believe him, and that's sad. First hand, I don't even know one person who became sick from the vaccine.
