I wouldn't care if a game was fixed, just as long as someone informs me ahead of time. Unfortunatly no one told me the fix was in for Fla St. and i'm pissed because i had Florida and these fat fvck bastards stole my money.

If i didn't have money on it i wouldn't care. But if you're so ignorant that you couldn't see the abortion that was the officiating then you're not even a fan your brain dead.

sorry, I guess I just saw it for what it was --- one team that's won 5 of the last 6 (must have been those damn refs every time

) finding a way to WIN (again) vs. their instate rival

They found a way to win 5 completly blown calls and at least 3 questionable calls. And to top it off they didn't even know how to spot the ball.

I never thought i'd see another game officiated as bad as the 91 Cowboy-Giant game where the NFL admitted they blew three calls. This is the new winner of the worst officiated game of all time.

I only watched the last few minutes of the game, but went ESPN.com for the recap. They stated the officiating was suspect and the ACC reviews every game from an officiating standpoint. ESPN thinks there will be some answering to the calls by the officials. I don't think only people with money on the game saw it the same way. Oh yeah, I played on Fla as well. By what I've heard and read, I'm glad I didn't. Still, that 4th and 14 pass wasn't thrown and caught by the refs. Went 6-3 with the stiff anyway.
Actually read the recap at Yahoo, not ESPN. LOng day. Went to ND BBk game. Not too impressive in beating Mt St Marys.

Noles

It's all that simple. None of the blown calls had an impact on the game. If my beloved Longhorns got those kind of calls i'd be happier than hell just like you. But i'd at least admit the obvious.

Bearmz: you're wrong!!! didn't you see the replays??? the refs actually threw that 4th and long for a completion and then they also put Doug Flutie in the FSU huddle to throw that bomb to win it ... but wait!!! that wasn't PK Sam that caught the winning pass!! ..... the refs actually put Charles Johnson in PK's uniform to catch that pass!!!

Oh yeah, I forgot David Copperfield is FSU's HC. Now it makes sense.
Anyway, to err is human, and to gamble is not exact.
Been on the side of questionable calls in the past and loved it. When you're placing your money on 22 kids and adding in refs, anything can happen.
Let's hit em tomorrow. GLTA

BigDaddyNole, I guess we are going to have to hear about the officiating all year from whiny ass gaytor fan. It always the fault of everything but the obvious, they got bitchsmacked by a better team in their own house. Bottom line, we made plays when we had to and Rix didn't let the fumble get into his head. SCOREBOARD!!!

Ok I had Florida as well. I lost so the end of that discussion as far as the wager is concerned.

But seriously take away the gambling aspect of it, even other writers, fans, etc shared their view on how the officiating was bad. Are you trying to say all these people had Florida State? I don't think so.

A friend of mine had Florida State as a big play & is happy he won. He even told me the officiating was horrible & the man won. Rix made the play which counts in the end but show some class & don't knock people who question officiating. Bad officiating is still bad officiating whether you placed a wager on the game or not.

End of story

Listen to you noles fans. Yes you won the game but dont start telling me the Gator backers are whining. That was THE worst officiating I have ever witnessed.

Answer these questions?

Was the game fairly officiated by the ACC crew?

How many of the fumbles that the refs disallowed were really fumbles?

Can you retain possession of a fumble with your knee?

Was Fason clearly down on the fumble return for a TD?

The last one to make sure that I am objective:

Why did Charlie Strong rush 3 on the last drive?

Nolefan, are you that stupid? I guess so, that's why you went to FSU, or you probably don't have a college education. Anyway, Im neither an FSU or UF fan and didn't have money on the game. Im a UM alumnus but always enjoy watching this game. However, the integrity of the game was challenged big time and even the journalists in our great nation cannot stay objective on this situation. I personally counted 7 blown calls, 3 of which accounted for 21 points. I personally feel the ACC and NCAA owe the University of Florida a public apology.

Actually Soulman, I am both an alumnus and booster, and I am also son of a Florida graduate. I chose to attend FSU, frankly because I have always been somewhat rebellious (I was accepted to both schools.) The officiating was bad, no dispute here. But what should really concern UF backers is the 4th and 14 conversion, as well as a cornerback allowing our wideout to get behind him when we needed a touchdown to win. You being a self proclaimed UM alumnus can probably identify with this (hint, last years national title game-all we heard was refs, refs, refs, nobody from UM gave OSU props for making clutch plays.)

I could care less about UF or FSU, and I had no $ on this game, but did see alot of it and what I saw was BS. The fumble FSU returned to tie it at 24 was just one of the worst calls I ever seen, and the FSU fumble on the goal line that UF recovered but didn't get was rediculous. I never seen a fumble recovered with a knee before. The best part of the game was the end. No class by a team that was given a win. FSU tradition lives. Gotta love it.
