I used to do this a lot when I was younger. Slightly different traps. We used to just catch bullheads from the dock, cut them open and tie them in the middle of the trap. We caught hundreds. I have never actually seen what goes in down below until now. Pretty much what I though but still nice to see so clearly.

is "for the money stressed here"? I have only had snow crabs and king crab but am curious if these are sweet as well when done right?

well king crabs are tons more expensive so I imagine they are even better. I was just referring to the similar rock crabs (red) and dungeness (brown) which are the two main crabs you can catch around the pacific northwest. The dungeness are just better with more meat.

sometimes when the tide would go out in the morning, they would get caught in the pools of water and you could just grab them even.
