According to the Tampa Tribune, Evan Longoria will not play in Tuesday's All-Star game due to an infection on his right ring finger.
He had the finger drained and was treated with antibiotics on Monday. The injury is not believed to be serious and he is expected to be in the lineup for the Rays when the season resumes on Friday. He was replaced on the roster by the Angels' Chone Figgins. The Rangers' Michael Young will start at third base.
