The Atlanta Braves Evan Gattis is getting use to saving the day. Gattis hit another game tying HR in the late innings last night that help propel Atlanta to a win over the Minnesota Twins. The 26 year old Rookie is .258 with 9 HR's and 23 RBI's in 36 games being versatile seeing playing time at catcher, first base and left field. Atlanta has hit 57 HR's this season and will look to go deep again this afternoon in support of Paul Maholm. Maholm is 5-4 3.83 ERA and has won all of his starts when receiving at least two runs of support. Maholm however is 7.77 ERA in four games when receiving no runs of support so a clicking Atlanta offense will be key as Atlanta tries for an Interleague Sweep over the Twins. Worley is 1-4 6.20 ERA this season and 0-1 5.82 ERA in last four road starts. Uggla is 4 for 9 vs. Worley with 2 HR's and Freeman is .364 with 7 RBI's over his last six games. Minnesota has now dropped seven in a row while Atlanta has won five in a row. Minnesota's road woes may continue today if Twins continue to give up runs in the early innings. Gattis should be in the lineup today in replacement for Justin Upton who draws a day off. With the big bat Gattis is swinging right now, Atlanta has an excellent chance to improve on their strong 14-5 Home Record. Source: ESPN MLB Preview
