Best preparation IMO is to move to a sparsely populated area with plenty of water, food and natural resources just in case you have to go back to a localized small-scale closed economy.

Don't have to worry about getting nuked because you'll be far enough down on the list of places to nuke that the world's nuclear arsenal will be exhausted before they get to you. As for surviving fallout from nukes dropped in other places, I'd say the first two weeks will be tricky, need some radiation proof shelters, but after that it should be ok because the half-life of radioactive fallout from nukes is pretty short.

ive had a strong resentment towards this country for several years now with the loss of moral and ethical values. i really wish the 60's and 70's generation would've just never existed because they raised kids with no morals or character.

in my international visits to the czech republic i found a country where: 1. they value communtiy. 2. have strong family values 3. have a strong economy 4. have a government that is prosperous and helpful. 5. literally no homeless or jobless people. 6. high quality of life, way higher than the us.

best time i ever had was in prague. when i had to come back here i was like damn i have to come back to this hell hole. if mccain gets elected i'll get citizenship there. i probably will if obama gets elected to, but less likely since i see a better future for this decaying country with an obama presidency.

the good thing is I have a trade that travels so I can find work pretty much anywhere. tired of this country though.
