Nothing racist about what Trump said.

If you don't like this country, if everything is so bad, if white people and Jewish people are the problem, if the flag represents oppression, then go back. I've heard white celebrities say "they're embarrassed and or they're moving" and we all say, "then move", is that racist too? It's not about the color of their skin, that's them playing the victim card, it's about the words that they speak.

Politicians are playing politics with everything, and our criminal corrupt colluding always lying media is complicit. It's like they don't even know what racism or oppression really are, and while I do believe they're all a bunch of lying assholes and whores, I don't believe they're has stupid as they sound. I think they're intellectually dishonest, I think their souls stink, I think they're just bad people.

As usual, Willie nails it.

why is it so hard to just admit TRUMP is a racist d bag?

Because he's not, his body of work proves that beyond any reasonable doubt. His expressions like "go back to the country you can from" can apply to anyone of any color that thinks this country is oppressive.

TDS is alive and well

A 63-year-old grandmother jailed in 1996 on a non-violent drug charge has been released from prison after she was granted clemency by President Trump.
Alice Johnson ran towards an emotional reunion with her family after leaving the prison in Pickens County, Alabama.
Her case was highlighted when Kim Kardashian West, who has lobbied for her release, met Mr Trump last week.
The White House said Johnson had been a model prisoner and worked hard to rehabilitate herself.

WASHINGTON — The Senate passed a sweeping criminal justice bill Tuesday that addresses concerns that the nation’s war on drugs had led to the imprisonment of too many Americans for non-violent crimes without adequately preparing them for their return to society.
President Donald Trump signed the bill Friday morning. Watch his remarks in the player above.
Senate passage of the bill by a vote of 87-12 culminates years of negotiations and gives President Donald Trump a signature policy victory, with the outcome hailed by scores of conservative and liberal advocacy groups. The House is expected to pass the bill this week, sending it to the president’s desk for his signature.
The bill gives judges more discretion when sentencing some drug offenders and boosts prisoner rehabilitation efforts. It also reduces the life sentence for some drug offenders with three convictions, or “three strikes,” to 25 years. Another provision would allow about 2,600 federal prisoners sentenced for crack cocaine offenses before August 2010 the opportunity to petition for a reduced penalty.
“America is the greatest Country in the world and my job is to fight for ALL citizens, even those who have made mistakes,” Trump tweeted moments after the vote.
“This will keep our communities safer, and provide hope and a second chance, to those who earn it. In addition to everything else, billions of dollars will be saved. I look forward to signing this into law!” Trump added.
The vote also thrilled Democrats. Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., said the nation’s prisons are full of Americans who are struggling with mental illness and addiction, and who are overwhelmingly poor. He said the nation’s criminal justice system “feeds on certain communities and not on others,” and said the bill represents a step toward “healing” for those communities.
“Let’s make no mistake, this legislation, which is one small step, will affect thousands and thousands of lives,” Booker said.

Who benefits most from this prison reform law again?

Any guesses?

This web site is exactly like ESPN. Used to be great but now is full of douche bags that argue politics all the time. Used to be a great gambling website, now full of left and right buttholes pushing their political views.

I'm neither a repub or a dem, but I have to say the Trump being racist thing is overblown, I've yet to read one racist comment from him that isn't taken out of context.

I think I’m like the average voter in America with the following opinion.

I like our country as is right now. Low unemployment, good economy, America first etc. Do I like Trump on Twitter? Not all the time but it doesn’t bother me. I am aware the media and the far left hate him so their hate skews their coverage and opinions of him.

Middle America doesn’t think he’s a racist, they aren’t on Twitter and don’t really care what the media reports.

He’s going to win easily in 2020.

I used to go to ESPN to get away from politics. Now I rarely watch it because of politics.

ESPN has gone serverely downhill for quite a while. With streaming and all their channel is only good for LIVE games, you can watch all their programs with no commercials on youtube. I don't think I've had the channel ESPN on for anything other than a live game in years. Why? why watch commercials?
