Comments on Bonds
Barry Bonds was a very good to borderline excellent baseball player before steroids. Taking steriods allowed him to be great. I feel if he would have come out and admitted it, initially there would have been tons of criticism but eventually most people wouldn't have acted the way they do now. People have very short memories and it's not like he killed someone. All he tried to do was get an edge that at least 30% of all baseball players were taking steroids. About his comment that he's not going to throw anyone under the bus. It kind of reminded me about Police that don't want to tell on their own when they are just as guilty. Each day that he holds onto the statement that he didn't knowingly take steroids, it's going to be that much harder to admit the truth and have the public lay off him.

Barry Bonds is a great baseball player that all little leaguers should aspire to model themselves after. He will make America proud when he smashes that fat drunkard Babe Ruth's homerun record. The most feared hitter in the history of baseball will finally get his due by the end of this season.

I am still a great baseball player without it and I just wanted to be the best I could be. This BS lying to everyone when anyone with half a brain knows he used roids is what has gotten everyone up in arms. That with the fact he is such an asshole. Yes he didnt kill anyone. He took roids. Admit it and move on.
I really hate Palmeiro. Fucker goes up to Congress basically swears he never did roids and lied his ass off.
My other point is when you are a cocky asshole in the position of a Barry Bonds people are going to come after you. I look at a more extreme example in OJ Simpson. This guy is such a cocky asshole that everyone and their mother want to go after this guy and ruin his life. The Cops in South Florida I know all wanted him to go to jail and would do anything and everything to bust him in some way.
Obviously this show is trying to paint a picture of Barry Bonds with a person with feelings and he is a major victim in this whole mess. Some of the crap he is dealing with is ridiculous and the people that are threatening his life should be put away forever. However Barry Bonds is not an innocent victim as well. I do not feel bad for him that the media is all over him. They should be.
