Honestly, i think keeping him is a good idea. They keep bringing in different coaches and they can't with any of them. Its not because of the coaches, its because of the stupid restrictions they have at ND. This isn't Alabama where you can go out and get whoever you want. ND has stupid academic restrictions.

They loosened them for Weis. If he is staying, it is because their guy isn't ready yet. They messed up the last three hires badly.

Not sure they have had them. Tom Lemming is very overrated and loves the Irish. Weis also has to develop it - something he has failed to do.

I'm not a CW lover but he doesn't deserve to keep job necessarily but no hard reason to fire him either. But aren't you already hating all the "it's about race" discussions that will be upcoming? IMHO it's not about race but one could construct a theme where it appears that way and many will/have. FWIW, I kind of like Ty Wlnghm but he has not been kicking ass since leaving ND has he?
