I hope these scumbags have the balls to do this - there will be another ESPN within one year and than the real ESPN will be out of business on pay per view.

ESPN is not going to pay-per-view. If your cable co. makes you pay more for receiving ESPN, there is always satellite.

Chuck,
They charge the satellite companies the same as the cable companies.

The issue is what they charge the cable & satellite companies for carrying their produce. ESPN has always fought to have their product as part of basic packages.

What will happen is that it will become more along the lines of HBO...and yo pay for it either on cable or the dish.
