.....saying pudge was out for sure. his hand hit the bag the same time the tag hit him. if there was a replay it would not be overturned. they flat out called it a "bad call" with no reservation. get over it joe and john, you guys must have money on the yankees.

only thing missing in that booth is pat summerall and john madden for the all corpse team. no beauty of youth to be found anywhere in there.

Boy that's an old school play by play baseball announcer. I love it. I'm young so i didn't get a chance to hear it all the time but it sure is cool to listen to.

It looked like it "would make sense" that he was out but you could not see for certain where his hand was when the tag was put on him - after review, it was not indisputable.

no way, he was definitely out, and I"LL TELL YOU WHY. If you watch the runner, he overslides the base, and doesnt hustle back to it UNTIL he sees the ump call him safe, THEN he turns and puts his hand back on the bag.

that ball was fair (palonco hit b5th) it hit the chalk. ump calls it foul. now there is your "bad call". but of course joe and john dont say that, just that it appeared to be fair.

earl,
WTF! was that, the 3rd base umpire is stading 20feet? away and the chalk flies up!!!!!!!!!! in the air. why is there a OF ump? when he can't call a play the home plate ump couldve called. i think this is proof the yankees get all the calls. at least the call on 3rd was close.

this is possibly the worst call i've seen since....... well i just can't remember, no judgement needed at all. the chalk flew in the air, case closed!

PS was there ever a replay of the 2nd pick off throw 1st then to 2nd. he looks pretty close, and maybe safe. but i don't remember them showing this replay again. as it ended the inning.

i'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything, but yeeeesh!
