I still like the Cowboys, but no adult can feel the same way about a team as a kid does. Those were the days when a local chain of gas stations would give away team photo posters each season and I'd memorize every player on the roster.

Crap, I can still tell you that Scott Laidlaw wore jersey number 35 in the late '70s. That's the kind of useless knowledge my brain has decided is worth holding on to.

I'm leaning toward just laying off any 2H bets. Both teams are having trouble finishing drives and, while you'd think that can't continue, Montreal kind of had the same problem last week.

There's still a fighting chance for that to come through. If I had to bet, I'd go second-half Over, but I think it might be smarter to wait for better opportunities. It's a long season.

Hi Coast, This looks like it has turned into the in-game thread...

How terrible is Edmonton's running back. TSN is doing alot to highlight his 2 dropped TD passes, but his running has been equally awful. If the other teams cornerback can knock you down in the back field with a diving soft forearm, you are not tough enough to play football. Even his his one decent carry for 16 yards was really earned by the blocking, somebody got a whisker on him after 13 and he started to go down.

I sure hope they find a way to keep this guy around until labour day.
