I've worked with minorities over a decade.....I know exactly how many of them feel.....sheriff Joe hasn't seen a live black person in decades....let alone talk to one.

I'd say plenty of Hispanics and Whites feel the same way. It's not exclusive to blacks. Again, regardless of what you've been told, you yourself aren't black and haven't experienced it, but I get what you're saying.

Agree.....just made a statement that some blacks resist arrest because of their distrust of police.....I didn't say I agree with or think it's right.....I said that's how some feel....and based on what we've seen lately....I now understand why they feel that way. SheriffJoe/Joe Contrarian is doing what he always does though .....trying to make it seem like something else.

I understand what you're saying. Trust me, policing today though is totally different than what it used to be. Plenty of folks from all races used to be abused with no repercussions. The problem is you can't totally weed out the bad one's, but I'll say that percentage is very, very small. I've always said that any cop arrested for any crime should do automatically double whatever the sentence is. No excuses, none.

Totally agree. I think the number of bad cops are very small......I think minorities think it's probably 50/50 when in actuality it's probably like 95/5 to the good.

I agree, and the problem is only the bad stuff is reported. It's a tough job, and sometimes split second decisions have to be made. It's easy to look back after something bad happens and criticize the officer.

The SC case where the cop shot that guy running in the back is one that's easy. He was 100% wrong and should be in prison. Others are far more difficult and it's tough to describe unless one has been in that situation.

Nobody should be abused or harassed unjustly though.
