I don't disagree with you, but cutting Harkes right before the World Cup killed team morale. Lalas and Balboa were benched because they told Sampson how they felt about that decision, not because they were old and slow.

Also agree re cutting someone who demonstrates leadership & initiatitve-- something sorely lacking this year. Well, they did demonstrate some initiative re dirty play.....
