another note here is that Pinny is a little more expensive if you like the FAV than other bookies... like they are trying to "disuade" bets on the CUBS...

Big misconception with the amount of vig you are laying. If you bet chi at pin right now you lay -167. Establishing a no vig number of -163/+163 you are playing into an edge of 0.87%.

However, everytime you play a football game you probably dont blink laying -110 and playing in a 4.54% edge.

IOW, a coinflipper is playing into a much smaller house edge with the baseball game.

My own line gives me Cubs -180. Phillies 30 day team index is terrible. With less than a 3% edge though, I won't lay -167.

Handicapping aside, I was trying to illustrate that even someone who didnt ever see a baseball game would be playing into a smaller house edge laying the -167 on a 10c line than laying -110 on a 20c line.

Considering the response I got from General, I take it he didnt give a f*ck.

Cubs win, Cubs win, Cubs win.....

and they needed it...gotta get on a roll before its too late....wild card is still very achievable, and with the starting pitchers they have, a very dangerous team in a short series...
