If the announcers goal is to make me throw up on myself, they have succeeded. Even my wife, who knows nothing about football, asked if all they ever talk about is Favre. Enough already!!!

Farve is class in every sense of the word. Unlike Carr and Co. who dance and showboat after every play. Justice has served itself tonight, and the proper team won. Also the fact that I hate Houston with a passion, plays little into the comments I have uttered above.

He is JUST a football player. Nothing more. Nothing less. He might be an idol to a few people, and I can respect that - but to make it look like meeting him is something special is STUPID.

As a football fan, I don't mean to say I wouldn't like to meet him - but to make it look like he's something God sent us so that we could be enlightened is just plain dumb.

Favre is my favorite player on my favorite team but they do go to far.Media wants a Mickey Mantle rural type to talk about, mostly to overshadow the TRASH thats in sports. Packers to the Super Bowl !

I used to despise Brett Favre when my Tampa Bay Bucs were in the same division, the NFC Central as Green Bay, and it took us years to finally surpass them strength~wise...........BUT, the last few years I have realized what respect I should have, and now had for this guy. Larry Bird, Joe Montana, Michael Jordan, and Brett Favre are all definitely considered in the same group.....
