I understand its you right and all not to answer that question. But jeez talk about giving people a hard time for doing there job....whether you agree with that job or not.
I guess I just don't take it personally when a cop wants to know whether I'm a citizen or not.

I've been pulled over by Border Patrol before in northern VT. My wife and I were leaving a friends house who lived about 2 miles form Canada. It was around 11:00 at night.
I had been drinking, not a lot, but enough that I was over the limit. He was nice enough, asked us if we were citizens, asked us if we had crossed the border, and asked if he could look into the bed of my pickup because I had a tonneau cover and he couldn't see in it. I complied nicely with all of his requests because If I hadn't he would have questioned me further and I didn't need that in the condition I was in. Definitely made me nervous but it was harmless enough I guess. The whole thing lasted a minute. He clearly had no interest in my condition, just wanted to make sure we were not illegals or hiding any.

Personally, I think there are a lot more important issues to be protesting in this country than some stupid immigration check-point.

pretty sad when people exercise their right as a citizen and are harassed by govt agents for doing just that.

These guys have nothing better to do than to waste peoples time? I have gone through these checkpoints before. Just answer the question and it takes no more than 10 seconds. I for one believe that any measure as simple as this to deter immigration is well worth it.

I wasn't going to comment because I didn't want to stir the pot, but then I saw we are in agreement...

Yes, it's our right but these videos just anger me.. We do have a lot of freedom in the country, but what good are we doing the country and ourselves acting like this. I think these people should be embarrassed posting these videos.

Those checkpoints seem like the biggest waste of time. The agent at the 7 minute mark is too funny, demanding he goes to the 2nd station. Of course these guys shooting the videos are making it all about themselves, but its pretty funny seeing them so flustered

These assholes might act a little differently if they lived in Arizona or Texas.

The guy sticks up for his actual rights as a citizen & some of you complain. Honestly you don't deserve to enjoy any of these rights if that is the case. Keep supporting stupid checkpoints that serve as nothing but an excuse to condition the public to phony freedom. Oh yeah that is right, we need to protect you from the boogeyman flavor of the month.

When I posted this video, I wasn't really sure how I felt about it. On one hand, all the dudes had to do was answer a few questions and then be on their way without holding up traffic. But the fact that eventually these border patrol officiers give up (especially when supervisors become involved) shows that they know that what they are doing is illegal.

I wish I had the balls to do something like this, but with my luck I would be the guy pulled out of the car by my collar and getting a royal ass beating.

These checkpoints are very, very clear violations of the Forth Amendment but to many people they seem innocuous and actually challenging the illegality makes people who would otherwise not do so to side with the government.

Interesting responses, nonetheless.

...and I'm still not really sure what the think.
