I know i actually semi-defended these guys in the past, probably because i didn't have experience with the top books. Well after having an account with RIO i know the difference! I got a payout from them the very next day no problem. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting on ESB (since July!)for the princely sum of $500. And their sending out ads saying their the most trusted sportsbook and best company in the world. I wanted to do a thumbs down icon but don't know how since the format changed.
Sorry to tell you this MickJ, But you'll never see your money from ESB, I have been waiting for $3,000.00 since March and have given up calling them, I know of a few others from past message boards from thePrescription and other websites out there that have been waiting longer to be paid than I have. Just got today in the mail a postcard from them stating there new 48 hour payouts are back.....guaranteed, Which is nothing but bullsh*t. Have you received this in the mail too? Why don't you call them up and question them about this new 48 hour payouts even if you do recieve a check by them most likely it will bounce.
I requested it WU. I wouldn't try a check after all that bouncing. I've been getting those postcards & phone ads. I had to call in after seeing that insulting 48 hour payout...Guaranteed! Talked with Tomson, got the usual try next week. The usual cust. "service" is James threatening to hold your money till the next sporting season if you don't stop calling.
This was the first book I ever used back in 1996. At the time they only did phone wagers. Back then they paid overnite using DHL. My last experience with them was a disaster. I dumped $55 into a long shot 6 team baseball parlay and it actually won. The payoff was around $1500 and I waited a couple of weeks and never got paid. I had my secretary call them three times a day for two weeks; finally I got a cashiers check for $982. Where they got this figure I will never know nor do I want to. I never even thought about them again until I saw this thread. Hope it all works out for you. G
3k. That's tough Celaya, i feel bad enough over $500. I mailed the postcard back to em' with a few choice comments. I'm planning on contacting the Irish embassy since that's where there operating now. Somebody should be able to get these guys. Their mailing ads from New Jersey and operating in a country with a real Government, Ireland. I'll update you on any progress. I seem to recall someone posting here about planning a lawsuit against them but they were paid off with help from the General & poster trytrytry.
MickJ, Try a little over $9,800 I have currently in my account with ESB. When I first started playing with them, I open up a balance of $200 after losing my money the first time around with them. Well I didn't know they were thieves, Didn't have access to the internet at the time to know about them, And well I place another $200 at my second time around early 2002 around January. I then started growing my account big and I did manage to get two separate checks for $1,000 each around the summertime of 2002 (august I think it was), But man it was hell collecting from them. Each of those checks bounce on me 3 times each. I didn't know either they had other option payouts besides just checks. Well then I still continued to play up until March this year. I tried collecting $3,000 on March 17, well they got my infortmation to send out the payout in 3-5 days, but it never reach me, so the same damn process all over again, Then they have the nerve to tell me that it's back into my account, but I never ask them to put it back I wanted it the money in my hands, well then it took about 3-4 calls every week monday morning to call to see if I could get that payout again for $3,000 which is there limit for the week, But they kept on telling me that there is an audit on my account, Then I call on the 5th monday and they had the balls to tell me it's easter here, sorry we not doing any payout request, i then call next following monday again the nonsense of audit in my account, I told them when is it going to be over, not sure call again next week, Jesus. So then I last call them I think it was arund early may, I get the new bullsh*t thing there running you got to play 3 times your balance in order to collect a payout and I know most likely I will lose it all either way, Just wished I could collect, I just gave up, It's like a second job for me, I can't stand esb, and lately I don't know if they are doing the same sh*t to you, But I get calls from them recorded messages saying how great they are, blah,blah,blah, and postcards every few weeks to upgrade and get a 50% bonus, they could save that stupid advertising campaign and pay the players money and have repeat customers knowing if you do win, you can get paid, But they fvck themselves over with cheating the customers and I'm glad the word is out on them on how crooked they are.
By the way MickJ, I don't know if you know, But the Jamaican government shut them down that is why they moved over to Ireland, If you contact the authorities there and able to reach them, Let me know, I'll be one of your witnesses too and can prove to them several bounce checks I have here with me, I would love to see them go out of business. I know of one guy that did sent them a reply back through mail on that postcard, But got his mail returned back to him, saying address does not exists, weird isn't it that they use to pay years ago from what I hear, and now they just want to Fvck everyone over.
